This is an ideal solution for installing electronics in medium & heavy-duty trucks.
Based on a vertical Drill-Down holder that attaches easily to the side of the passenger seat base or the engine house in cab-forward models. Four 2.78” slotted holes allow maximum flexibility in placement. Telescoping feature provides user-selectable heights from 12 to 18 inches, and dual swing arms provide articulation with up to 12 inches of reach for passenger and driver access. Patented rubber ball and socket joint provides additional adjustment as well as shock and vibration isolation.
These are available configured for any combination of laptop, ELD, tablet and phone.
For laptops, expandable trays come in two sizes – the smaller one works for devices 8.56”-11.2” wide, ideal for versions of the Microsoft Surface, larger tablets and iPads, and smaller laptops. The larger tray works with devices from 10”-16” wide. Both trays include side clamping arms a with rubber grip feature, and they can be moved both vertically and horizontally. Hole patterns on the perimeters of tray facilitate the mounting of additional RAM systems to support phones, trays, other electronics, etc.
Obviously, there is some assembly required but it’s not rocket science.
